TWITCH: THE NEW STREAMING PLATFORM

In 2020 due to to the pandemic that hit the world, many people have been forced to stay at home, everyone has discovered new hobbies and new passions and in particular many have come across a streaming platform, Twitch.
This platform allows you to stream lives of any kind, in fact the contents vary from cooking to video games.
The boom occurred at the peak of the pandemic in which many (including famous people) have started to stream live, streamers earn money thanks to advertisements that start randomly and thanks to donations and subscriptions, the latter at the cost of five euros a month allows you to avoid advertisements and be able to communicate directly with the streamer.
The difference with TV is that thanks to this platform you can easily switch from one content to another and you can choose the topic you prefer, moreover the biggest difference is that the viewer can interact directly with the streamer, through chat.
In the USA this streaming platform was well known even before the pandemic but thanks to this many famous people started doing live, among these the most famous is Christian Vieri who with Lele Adani, Antonio Cassano and Nicola Ventola created the BoboTv, program on twitch that goes live at 9pm on alternate days. The theme is obviously football and thanks to the technical analyzes of the streamers and the many prestigious guests, thousands of people stay and watch them for hours, preferring them to TV programs.
Many people, on the other hand, have become famous thanks to Twitch, this is the case of many gamers who base their content on video games, or others who base their live on just chatting or podcasts or talk shows in which thanks to guests they entertain people at home.
This platform and in particular those who take part in it is not well seen by television which has lost a lot of watchers, especially young people, who have decided to move to Twitch and this is bringing about the decline of programs on television that, due to the few ratings, have decided to cancel.
