Per molto tempo il pensiero che ha caratterizzato le persone è stato quello che il denaro è l’unica cosa che serve per raggiungere la felicità, ma in realtà la felicità si ottiene solo attraverso la ricchezza?
Quando pensiamo alla ricchezza e al denaro pensiamo sempre a una vita agiata, in una villa in riva al mare o in uno chalet in montagna pieno di neve d’inverno e passeggiate d’estate, pensiamo ad un’auto alla moda, a una Porsche decappottabile, pensiamo a vacanze infinite e una famiglia che emana felicità dai pori della pelle, una famiglia da copertina, che non si arrabbia mai, giusto?
Ma la ricchezza è davvero l’unico modo per una vita perfetta? Alcuni risponderanno di sì, ma la realtà è ben diversa. Come affermano diversi studi, la felicità non è qualcosa che si può comprare, è vero, puoi comprare qualcosa che ti rende felice; un nuovo libro, una nuova macchina, una nuova gonna, ma la felicità che si ottiene acquistando queste cose non durerà per sempre, finirà sicuramente per spegnersi, perché l’uomo dopo un po’ si annoia delle cose materiali e le butta via, la felicità non è qualcosa che può essere buttato via.
La felicità è ciò che accade con l’amore, l’amicizia, la famiglia e le pietre miliari personali e a differenza di quello che potresti pensare il denaro è inutile per conquistare queste cose, perché queste cose accadono solo se viviamo.
Per concludere, un attore italiano, Roberto Benigni, ha detto che la felicità è intorno a noi e che dobbiamo cercarla nei cassetti più piccoli, sotto il letto o dobbiamo prenderla con una sorpresa.
Il denaro causa la felicità, ma la felicità non dipende dal denaro.

MONEY DOES NOT MAKE HAPPINESS
For a long time the thinking that characterized people was that money is the only thing you need to achieve happiness, but in reality, happiness is only obtained through wealth?
When we think of wealth and money we always think of a comfortable life, in a villa by the sea or in a chalet in the mountains full of snow in winter and walks in summer, we think of a fashionable car, a Porsche convertible, we think of endless holidays and a family that exudes happiness from the pores of the skin, a cover family, that never gets mad, right?
But is wealth really the only way to a perfect life?
Some will answer yes, but the reality is quite different. As several studies state, happiness is not something you can buy, it is true, you can buy something that makes you happy; a new book, a new car, a new skirt, but the happiness that is obtained by buying these things will not last forever, it will surely end up going out, because after a while man gets bored of material things and throws them away happiness is not something that can be thrown away.
Happiness is what happens with love, friendship, family and personal milestones and unlike what you might think money is useless to conquer these things, because these things only happen if we live.
To conclude, an Italian actor, Roberto Benigni, said that happiness is all around us and that we must look for it in the smallest drawers, under the bed or we must take it with a surprise.
Money causes happiness, but happiness does not depend on money.
