Sei Ragazzi E Un’avventura Da Film

SIX GUYS AND A MOVIE ADVENTURE

Six boys missing on a desert island, it seems surreal, even though this is the story of a group of friends from Tonga.

It is 1966, the boys, between 15 and 19 years old, have decided to steal a boat to venture together in the middle of the Pacific, but their adventure takes an unexpected turn. In the middle of the night a storm causes the vehicle to lose its functionality and the children find themselves without food and water until they reach the island of Ata, where they will spend the following 15 months. The group, however, does not give up and decides to fight for their life using all their survival knowledge. Thanks to all the fruit trees available on the island, the children slowly recover the energy lost in the previous days, and in fact begin to build shelters, light a fire and build small tools for fishing. It is thanks to their strength of mind, their ability to adapt, but above all to their skills that have made it possible to survive on a desert island. It is in fact in a day like many of their new everyday life, that, after more than a year, one of the boys finally spots a boat thanks to which they will all be brought home to their families. This story is extraordinary, the kids who have lived it describe it as an experience that has enriched them a lot and that has forever changed their vision of the world.
