Music, language of everything

Music, as well as other forms of art, is a way to communicate our emotions to the world without necessarily having to speak; if we are happy we will want to listen to cheerful music, if we are sad “depressing” music and so on; we listen to it but it is also the same for those who compose it, in fact many singers write very sad songs just to let off steam, because by expressing a strong emotion that you are feeling, this often tends to fade, and many times we want to get rid of emotions that make us feel bad.
There are many emotions (we probably don’t even know them all), but there are no negative emotions: each has a very specific purpose, for example anger helps us to understand that perhaps an injustice has been committed; however, when an emotion arrives and we feel it very strong, often so strong that we come to feel physical pain, we must somehow mitigate it: and how can we do it? There are many methods, especially because for many it is extremely difficult to express their feelings with words put into an articulate speech, one of these methods is music, which, in my opinion, is a beautiful way to let off steam; in addition to making those who compose it feel better, it can also make those who listen to it feel better, and the beauty is precisely this: everyone can give a different interpretation to what one is listening to and often the composer manages to strike in the soul and understand in the deep of the people he had never even seen. Sometimes, in fact, musicians who feel unmotivated continue to make music precisely in order not to disappoint their listeners, to continue to penetrate their hearts and also give them the opportunity to feel more serene and understood, in fact one of the joys of communicating with the music is just that: making others happier. Then there are different types of music to express yourself with: there are those who play, those who sing, those who only write song lyrics and those who do all these things together (not to mention the many styles of music); some of us have never written a song and maybe don’t particularly like singing in public, but for example some people play an instrument; at the beginning you can’t express yourself very clearly because you have to learn (even if personally I find it liberating also to push random keys or many keys together), but after having learned a little you can concentrate everything you are feeling on playing, even during the shows, some musicians declared that it is as if there is no audience, it is just you and your instrument; yes because music also helps us to focus only on what we are doing without hostile thoughts and not that come and go. When you feel happy you can play silly or catchy songs, while when you feel down there are a slew of melancholy and nostalgic songs to choose from.

By the way playing an instrument or singing is not a passion everybody has, so you can also devote yourself to something else and limit yourself to listening, which still brings out various sensations and brings to mind images and memories that sometimes we didn’t think we had. In fact, there are also melodies created specifically to bring memories to our memory through the sense of hearing (a bit like those smells that take us back to past moments).
But music is one of the most effective ways of communicating something you are feeling, even if you do not know what it is, it is something pleasant and enlightening, it is like throwing many objects against the wall when we are angry or like rolling around in long expanses of flowery meadow when we are joyful and it can be a hug at the arrival of the evening when we have had a difficult day, it is something that can help us live in a world that unfortunately does not always reserve the best surprises for us.
