Nowadays students have difficulty to choose who they want to be in the future, so I think that they need projects in schools and with local businesses to enter in the world of work.
I believe that using this method they can better understand the right path to take. First of all you should support workshops in schools to make students more aware of what their future might be like. They could be structured according to the skills of each student. The students could write the proposal on a card anonymously to be put in a box that will be viewed by the teachers. Unfortunately, the Italian school system does not propose to choose but requires to follow a course that is most likely not suitable for all students and therefore does not give enough advantages.
Moreover, local businesses should establish links with schools so as to give students an experience and also the opportunity to improve their curriculum that they certainly need for their future. About that, a recurring problem is finding a job when you’re out of college: many southern students, for lack of work, they move from the native country.
In conclusion, many students do not feel prepared for the future, so solutions such as these mentioned above must be used. In my opinion, school preparation is not suitable for market work because it has many weaknesses, such as the teaching of any subject.
