In preparation for the Pogchamps, the celebrities have done their training on their respective Twitch channels with some chess masters, including the highest-rated blitz player in the world Hikaru Nakamura.

All the matches are broadcasted live at 9.30 p.m. CET on Twitch with commentary by Grand Master (GM) Hikaru Nakamura,  International Master (IM) Levy Rozman, GM Danya Naroditsky  and other chess celebrities. The coaches for the players are also the commentators for the matches: this means that the analysis of the games is based on the improvement of the players’ skills. Viewers that are new to chess can learn important notions as well.
