Spazio, il Rover perseverance

February was a hectic month for Mars, more precisely, on Friday 19 the NASA rover called Rover Perseverance landed on Mars. This machine will be revolutionary, as it will transfer samples from the red planet to earth. Perseverance’s journey began seven months ago. The very risky maneuver with the carrier went from 20,000 to zero kilometers per hour due to a robotic parachute the size of a car.

This machine,  which arrived on Mars at 9.55 pm, began its adventure in search of signs of life. This expedition cost three billion dollars, will last two years and is also intended to set a
milestone on the road to the goal of one day transporting humans.
“Perseverance” is equipped with a perforator, a two-meter robotic arm and seven different scientific research tools that brings with it a small helicopter, called “Ingenuity” which will carry out the first controlled flight to Mars. The samples collected by this device will be placed in containers which will then be collected by a subsequent mission carried out together with the European Space Agency. A first rover will be sent to collect the different containers in a single recipient that will be sent into orbit around Mars and then be collected, later, by a space vector that will bring it back to Earth in 2031.
