Le sparatorie nelle scuole sono reali, aprite gli occhi!
Una volta all’anno ogni scuola americana deve fare una simulazione di una sparatoria; gli insegnanti devono chiudere la porta e spegnere la luce in modo che l’eventuale aggressore pensi che non ci sia nessuno in quella classe. L’insegnante deve quindi provare a portare fuori dall’edificio gli studenti: rompendo la finestra in un punto specifico o andando alla porta più vicina. Questo è il motivo per cui quando succedono sparatorie nelle scuole sentiamo anche che degli insegnanti vengono uccisi; questo perché devono cercare di proteggere gli studenti.
Il secondo Emendamento della costituzione americana permette alle persone di avere armi per proteggersi, il National Rifle Association ritiene che le persone stiano usando questo Emendamento come pretesto per comprare armi e commettere sparatorie di massa. Le persone sono divise nel paese, da una parte ci sono i democratici che vogliono leggi ristrette sulle armi, inoltre pensano che una delle ragioni per cui numerose armi sono vendute a degli psicopatici sia perché nessuno guarda al loro passato. Dall’altra parte ci sono i repubblicani che pensano che avere una pistola sia un loro diritto e le sparatorie non si fermeranno limitando solo alcune leggi.
Dal 2009 ci sono state più di 288 sparatorie nelle scuole, abbiamo visto alcuni miglioramenti negli anni in merito alla sicurezza delle scuole, ma purtroppo le sparatorie nelle scuole avvengono ancora oggi come nel 1999, quando ci fu una delle prime sparatorie di massa alla scuola superiore di Columbine. Ora se vuoi entrare in una scuola devi suonare il campanello e la segretaria deve lasciarti entrare, ma ci sono ancora molte possibilità di portare una pistola a scuola.
Il N.R.A. sta cercando di impedire tutte queste sparatorie che stanno accadendo ma senza il consenso di molti americani tutti gli studenti, gli insegnanti e tutte le persone non si sentiranno mai al sicuro.
Fai la differenza, prendi una posizione per la tua sicurezza e per una educazione sicura!
School shootings are real, open your eyes!
Once a year every school has to do a shooting simulation, teachers have to lock the door and turn off the light so the potential shooter will think that there isn’t anyone in that class. The teacher then has to try to bring out from the building the students, breaking the window in a specific point or going to the closest door. This is the reason why when there are shootings we also hear about teachers that are killed, because they have to try to protect the students.
The second Amendment of the American constitution lets people carry guns to protect themselves, the National Rifle Association thinks that people are using this Amendment as a pretext to buy guns and commit mass shootings. People are divided in the country, on one side we find the Democrats who want restricted laws, besides they believe that one of the main reasons why guns are sold to so many people who turn to be psychopaths is the absence of controls on past threatening activities. On the other side we find the Republicans who think that carrying a gun is their own right and the shootings will not stop only restricting some laws.
Since the 2009 there have been more than 288 school shootings, we have seen some improvements during the years about school security, but unfortunately the school shootings still happen nowadays as in the 1999 when there was one of the first mass school shooting at the Columbine high school. Now if you want to come into a school you have to ring the doorbell and the secretary has to let you come in, but there still are a lot of possibility to carry a gun at school.
The N.R.A. is trying to prevent all these shootings that are happening but without the consent of many American people all the students, teachers and everyone else will never feel safe.
